The nationally and indigenously developed “Work Class Remotely Operated Vehicle” (ROV) Kaşif; while it can operate in drilling operations at depths up to 3000m, it can at the same time send over real time video footage to the drillship via its cameras with varying features and can also utilize its manipulators, arms and special tooling equipment to engage in cutting, gasket removal/installation, valve opening/closing and wellhead cleaning operations at deep sea conditions 24/7.

Being produced and owned by a relatively small number of countries, the new generation hybrid Work Class Remotely Operated Vehicle Kaşif; houses independently controllable thrusters in addition to a hydraulic power unit for manipulators and tooling equipment.
