IDEF 2019, 14th International Defence Industry Fair

IDEF 2019, 14th International Defence Industry Fair took place between 30 April - 3 May 2019 at TUYAP Fair and Congress Centre, under the auspices of Presidency of the Republic of Turkey.

It was a great opportunity for networking within the sector and it was considered as a meeting point for leading international professionals and representatives of the industry; more than a thousand of companies, senior officials and military authorities have participated. Companies are serving to the industry through different branches, and for that reason, hearing from their unique perspectives was a remarkable experience for our team.

We welcomed many guests, including Chief of General Staff, Full Gen. Yasar GULER; President of Defence IndustriesProf. Dr. Ismail DEMIR; Presidency of Defence Industries Department of Naval Platforms President Alper KOSE.

As ARMELSAN, we presented our underwater acoustic systems and received a great interest from all participants.

We had the honour to exhibit following designs:

• NUSRAT 1915 Mine Hunting Sonar
• ORKUN 2053 Helicopter Dipping Sonar
• Klein 2900 Shallow Water Side Scanning Sonar

As the only representative of Klein Marine Systems in Turkey and Middle East, we had the opportunity to have discussions with Klein Marine Systems General Manager Frank Cobis about our sustainable and successful cooperation.
